Calculating High School Grade w/ courses

TO EXEMPT OR NOT TO EXEMPT......

 

It is a parent decision whether or not to exempt midterm exams for EOC High School Courses. The following conditions apply:

 

1) To be eligible, students cannot have a C or lower in either quarter or at the time of the examination. If a student has an A the 1st quarter and a C+ at the time of examination in the 2nd quarter, they are not eligible for exemption. BMV will determine who is eligible for midterm exam exemption. NOTE: no student is eligible to exempt an EOC exam. 

 

2) If you meet the criteria in 1) students may only exempt 1 midterm exam IF THEY ARE TAKING AT LEAST 2 HIGH SCHOOL COURSES....either Algebra, Geometry, or Biology CAN BE EXEMPTED

 Exemption forms must be returned to Mr. Turturro at least 3 days prior to the midterm exam. Students will be provided exemption forms in early December.
